Shana Kroiz is a jeweler and educator with roots in and a relationship with the Baltimore arts and education community. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, she has been a studio jeweler for about 25 years, with exhibitions and showings in galleries and museums.
Kroiz has served as Director of and taught at the Maryland Institute College of Art, and has been the Director of the 92nd Street Y’s Jewelry Center in New York. She is a founding member of the Baltimore Jewelry Center, where she currently teaches. Ms. Kroiz has been featured and published in numerous books and periodicals, and has works in the permanent collections of the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, and the Racine Art Museum in Racine, Wisconsin. Her current focus is as a designer and maker of fine, expressive jewelry. She strives to capture color and form in wearable art.
