Betty Baugh

Baugh was the wife of Wayne Husted at the time he was design director of Blenko glass. Industrial designer Betty Baugh earned degrees from New York State College of Industrial Design at Alfred University and Stephen College. She was professor and guest lecturer at several universities. Baugh was elected President of the Industrial Designers Society of America and has received awards.
Today she consults on product design in glassware, metal, ceramics, and other media. Baugh believes in not transforming the material she uses so that it will function as part of the object.
