From ledger: horizontal strips of mottled split bamboo held together by entwined vertical blue threads; bordered with black silk fabric; decorated with silk threads wrapped around individual strips and with paint. Blue key motif along side and bottom edges, central multicolored flamingo-like bird standing on tiny island in pond amidst flowers, clouds above. Nine silk cord loops for hanging, with small brass balls.
