The Cube Teapot, ca. 1915–16

Square “cube” body, flat base and top. Flush hinged recessed circular cover set diagonally on top. Concave section at corner forms pouring spout. Opposite corner recessed to create handle aperture;handle vertical; wooden thumbrest inset at top; bright-cut engraved swags around body near top.
