b) Single row of widely spaced floral sprigs alternating with double row of smaller bud sprigs, brocaded in cotton on sheer undyed piña cloth ground in yellows, oranges, greens, blues. Coarse screen effect of ground obtained by grouping five warps closely, isolating single one, etc.; wefts same. Two plain selvages. Purchased in a Manila market.
