Textile (Bolivia)

Broad stripes of dark brown and dark red and dull green with warp-patterned geometrical and animal stripes in these colors, on cream ground. Some type of herringbone embroidery in red wool joins two lengths down center. Edged with wool tubular embroidery with lozenge pattern in red, blue and cream.
