a,b: epaulets of red cloth and red fringe arranged to fall over shoulder and hook to fasten epaulet to shoulder; button of brass with spread eagle bearing “A” on shield. On lining: J. Lyall. c,d: chevrons made of black felt edged with red felt with two stripes of “gold” braid.
