Oblong sampler of cream linen embroidered in colored silks in various detached motifs: angel, flowers, a shepherd with lamb, house, birds and other animals, and a floral border. On the left side is Mexico’s coat of arms – a golden eagle devouring a rattlesnake while perched on a prickly pear cactus.
