Gauze-like effect of natural linen warps occasionally held together with narrow twill-woven bands, with occasional single, eccentric wefts. The warps are hand-painted in an irregular pattern in deep indigo blue. The painted effect dominates when lit from the front, but when light shines through from the back, the structure comes forward visually.
