Rectangle of dark green damask heavily embroidered in bright polychrome silks in design of two spotted dogs amid stylized cloud forms. The dogs’ eyes are of couched gold (wound on thread core); a border of couched gold (gilt paper on heavy thread) surrounds the picture, which resembles a Chinese rank badge. Backed with paper and lined with thin blue silk.
