Poster, Street Scene, 2012

Large, white letters spelling “STREET SCENE” are folded into a staggered, staircase formation, which extends diagonally from the poster’s lower right corner to its left edge. The letters seem to be three-dimensional, and their placement gives the black background the appearance of depth. Above them. the word “châtelet” is broken into three vertical rows in small white type. To the right, two narrow columns of smaller white text give details about the opera. White text in the top right reads “Un opera americain de Kurt Weill.”
