Pleated fan. Painted parchment leaf. Obverse: Romantic groups and still life in medallions bordered with gold; blue background scattered with gold leaves and pink flowering branches. Reverse: Chinoiserie landscape. Carved, pierced, painted, and gessoed ivory sticks showing figures and flowers in scrolled cartouches and fretwork; colored foil behind the guards. Glass stone at the rivet.
