Panel (Albania), 1915

Panel comprised of several lengths with a sheer ground divided by wide, opaque warp stripes into three panels with white continuous geometric pattern in each with touches of red and metallic thread. Deep border at each end marked by opaque weft stripes of red and yellow. White and metallic thread openwork stripes at top and bottom. Three stylized bud forms inlaid in each panel.
