Extending downward from the border’s outer edge a short distance into the ground are four gilt dagger-like shapes, each terminating in five small dots, gradually decreasing in size. From (in miniature, rust-colored stencil-style capitals, is imprinted immediately below, one letter per “dagger”)/ A. & M. Karagheusian (in somewhat larger stencil-style, in black, stretching from border to border)/ 295 fifth Avenue New York (in hand-lettered style, upright rust-colored script, evocative of Art Deco type). Stretching from left to right, three lines of serif-style type in small rust-colored capitals, a mix of upright and italicized, are imprinted within the ground, just above the inner border edge at bottom. Four dagger-like shapes, aligned with the upper design, are imprinted on the lower border.
