Drawing, Two Projects for Painted Decorations of Panels, 1580–1590

Vertical rectangle, one design above the other. the panels are pentagonal, the lower, right, upper, and topmost of the upper parts of the left edges are straight, the lower parts are convex. In the center of the upper design, half-figure of a winged woman, carrying on her head a vase with grapes. In her hands is a drapery festoon. Laterally are winged half-figures carrying vases on their heads. A bird sits on the lower rinceaux of the left figure. At upper right corner, a bird is supsended by a thread with a fish attached to it. In the lower design, two winged half-figures carry the frame of a gem. At the upper edge, a rinceau pediment with a vase sits between two birds. Drapery festoons along upper edges. Laterally are plant candelabra rising from a rinceau below.
