A design for a stand with dado supported with acanthus leaves. Primarily the left portion of the design is shown while the right side is described lightly in graphite. A volute pediment is supported by acanthus rinceaux, with cornucopias forming parts of the stems. Beads are held by strings, or boughs, connecting the lower spirals of the rinceaux, cornucopias and spirals of the pediment. At top, a crown is shown above the crossing of laurel and palm boughs.
