Drawing, Decoration of a panel

Horizontal rectangle. An inner circular frame is rectangularly framed. In the center stands an old bearded man, with a bunch of branches in his left hand. On top are probably two bunches of ears of grain. From a bowknot at left hang, laterally, an ax and a mace (?), a basin, at right a wreath, two weapons or tools, and a pitcher. Below are more objects. On the reverse are two drawings referring to the construction of conches, an obelisk, and “6 3 4 1/2”. (RB ’45)
