Candlestick, early 18th century

Molded foot with shaped edge, supporting a slightly curved horizontal tray for snuffer and, at right angles to it, a threaded cylinder and a loop handle with a thumb rest. Engraved with walled tower, key and glove. Center post cut out for snuffer; at junction, pair of arms with bobeches, cylindrical candleholders, and finials.
