Baby’s cap of fine white cotton ornamented with Hollie Point lace, a type of knotted needle lace, and white embroidery. Made in twelve sections and jointed by fine openwork stitches and decorated with scattered flower sprays of white embroidery. Sections run from front to back and join a small round crown of Hollie Point lace in a fruit basket design. Center panel and back and top of the cap are made of Hollie Point lace.
